It’s true. I was there. I saw it all. Call me a witness. Call me a fly on the wall. Call me maybe. It doesn’t matter because I was there. So we all walked into a large room with a round white table in the middle of it. Around it sat all the bad guys,…
Last night the Wests Tigers named their greatest team of all time. It was a decent side that pretty much included all of their 2005 Premiership winning players with a couple of others that managed to find their way into the side. Still, there were a few names missing from that team that kind of…
After yesterdays post about the upcoming release of ISC jerseys with Marvel branding, fans from other clubs got super jealous that they would have their own superhero jerseys to buy. Many speculated about which character would be best suited to their club colours, so I’ve taken it upon myself to give each remaining NRL club…
Sometimes you just have to be the better person and admit your mistakes. You need to sit down, think about what you have done, and come to the conclusion that you need to make amends for your actions. As the Penrith Panthers find themselves atop of the NRL ladder, again, we have seen a bit…

All men are created equal. Its a nice line, but its a lie. All men are not created equal. Every single one of us are different. We are unique. What drives us, what we value, what we believe in, it differs from person to person. One thing we do all share is a strong survival…
Forget passion, talent wins State Of Origin games. While some selections are already leaking out for NSW I’m going to ignore them and post the team I would select. A few players are injured and some are suspended. That means that no NSW team anyone selects is going to be ideal. That being said, Â this…
I find it very strange that when I sit down to watch my Penrith Panthers play these days, most of the time they are wearing a bright pink jersey. Its hard enough being a Penrith Panthers supporter at the best of times. There have really only been a few times in the clubs entire history…
In the last 48 hours I have seen two different photos of two different players having a quiet beer at a pub. They were not doing anything wrong. They were not causing any trouble. They were just two people having a quiet drink. These players were, without their knowledge, photographed during what I would consider…
With the 2014 season about to begin the supporters of 16 National Rugby League clubs have hearts filled with hope and minds filled with dreams. Right now, anyone can win the Grand Final. I knew it! I knew there was no way any one group of people could be that stupid! No doubt you have all seen me adding my various corrections to the numerous “awards” that British Rugby League journalists like to hand out at the end of every year. From laughably naming Kevin Sinfield as the…
When Sydney Daily Telegraph writer Phil Rothfield decided to list 62 reasons why the 2013 Rugby League World Cup was terrible, I defended him. I honestly believe that the sport can react too quickly to criticism. I think sometimes Rugby League needs to realise that it can do things better. That there is room for…

The room is crowded, a sea of people all there with one purpose. One goal. To be part of this meeting you have to be considered to be part of the Sydney based Rugby League media. That is a pretty easy thing to do by the way. I mean, have you seen this mob? The…
When I saw the proposed Penrith Panthers logo for 2014, I wasn’t all that impressed. Aside from the fact that it will disappear on a black background, they dropped the name “Penrith”, the writing of the word “Panthers” looks shit, and the Panther itself looks a bit off. So what should a militant Penrith Panthers…

It is one of the greatest rivalries in Rugby League. Tonight we will see the latest chapter written in the rivalry between the Parramatta Eels and the Canterbury Bulldogs. Both teams have a long history of not liking each other, most of it stemming back to the 1980’s when they faced off in some classic…
They are without doubt the two biggest superstars to play for the Wests Tigers since their inception. Together they guided the clubs to a Premiership in 2005.
