2013 Super League Dream Team Announced

The 2013 Super League Dream team has been announced with the minor premiership winning Huddersfield Giants featuring heavily in the lineup.

Its hard to argue with the lineup they have announced. They have got it about spot on.

The 2013 Super League Dream Team is as follows:

Fullback: Sam Tomkins – Wigan Warriors
Dream Team appearances: 5 (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013)

Wing: Josh Charnley – Wigan Warriors
Dream Team appearances: 2 (2012, 2013)

Centre: Leroy Cudjoe – Huddersfield Giants
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Centre: Ben Crooks – Hull FC
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Wing: Tom Lineham – Hull FC
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Stand-off: Danny Brough – Huddersfield Giants
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Scrum-half: Matty Smith – Wigan Warriors
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Prop: Jamie Peacock – Leeds Rhinos
Dream Team appearances: 9 (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2013)

Hooker: Shaun Lunt – Huddersfield Giants
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Prop: Eorl Crabtree – Huddersfield Giants
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Second row: Brett Ferres – Huddersfield Giants
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Second row: Danny Kirmond – Wakefield Trinity Wildcats
Dream Team appearances: 1 (2013)

Loose forward: Sean O’Loughlin – Wigan Warriors
Dream Team appearances: 4 (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013)

Its good to see Danny Kirmond made the side. He really deserved his selection and I thought he may have missed out.

Its not quite a star studded lineup, but hey, thats Super League these days!
