Nelson Asofa-Solomona Cleared By The NRL Integrity Unit Over Bali Brawl

UPDATE: Nelson Asofa-Solomona Suspended For 3 Games, Fined $15,000 For Bali Incident

Fox Sports is reporting that Nelson Asofa-Solomona has been cleared by the NRL Integrity Unit over a brawl that was filmed in Bali.

This is great news for Asofa-Solomona who still needs to get the all clear by the New Zealand Rugby League to take part in the upcoming test matches. That is likely to come through very soon. It would very unlucky that the NRL Integrity Unit would clear Nelson Asofa-Solomona and the NZRL would still uphold his suspension.

Asofa-Solomona was standing up for Melbourne Storm team mate Suliasi Vunivalu who had been attacked. It is great to see that the NRL Integrity Unit didn’t just slam both players as that would have opened up Rugby League players to further attacks when they are out in public.

There is a great lesson to be had in all of this…

Don’t go pissing off giant Kiwi’s who can beat the hell out of you. It is going to end poorly for everyone involved….but mostly for you!
