Welcome To The New Look LeagueFreak.com

When you call yourself The King Of Rugby League you need to be able to back it up with an online presence that is worthy of such a royal title. After a lot of hard work and dedication, I now present you with the new and improved version of LeagueFreak.com

So what is different you say?

First of all you will notice the menus across the top of the page. These menus mean you are no more than two clicks from every single page on this glorious web site.

The upper menu is for more static web site content. The lower menu is a direct link to the regular posts I make. Everything on the web site can be accessed via those two menus so take a look through what is there and see what you can find.

You will notice on the right hand corner of the site there is a small banner that says “Want To Join? Click Here”. That is where the new look site really shows off what it is capable of.

If you join the web site you will be able to comment on every single page on the site. No longer will you be limited by character limits, at the bottom of every post in a comment box that will allow you to have you say.

If you agree with something I’ve written, great, tell me. If you disagree, even better, written three thousand words telling me why I am wrong.

Another thing you will notice is that across the bottom of every post on the site there are a set of social media links. This will mean that with the simple click of a button, you’ll be able to share your favorite articles with friends on your various social media outlets. I get to see how many people share these links too, so start clicking!

The major reason for the site upgrade was to allow people to be able to have their say directly on the web site. I wanted the site to be far more interactive than it was. By joining the site, you can take advantage of all the work that has gone into this site over the last 8 months.

Don’t think this is everything either. There is a lot more to be added to the site with a number of exciting features coming up!

So register on the site and beat the rush!

Last but not least I want to thank Matt from http://www.zerotackle.com/

It was a steep learning curve for me to move from the old site software to WordPress and he helped me every step of the way. I must have sent dozens of emails with stupid questions to him, and more than a couple telling him I’d broken the site and could he fix it for me.

Without his help, none of this would have been possible, so do yourself a favour and go to his web site via the link, and bookmark it. He is a major contributor to this web site and deserves as much traffic as I can send his way.

So, now that you have read all that, go and take a look around and see whats on here. You’ll find a few hidden gems that I’m sure will make you smile.

The site may have changed a little, but this bastard robot is still taking names and kicking arse!

  1. The site’s looking good – any chance you can update a few of you rankings etc? I’m pretty sure your opinions will have changed over time, and it’d make it all look a little better. Also, why am i blocked on Twitter by you – the only thing i can think is we had a bit of a debate once that got out of hand or something.

  2. Thanks champ! As I went through the old site I realized you probably commented on more of the articles than anyone else. It wasn’t great that I had to lose a few things on there but this site is so much easier to comment on.

I’ll be going through and updating the rankings and stuff as well as the predictions and things over the next few weeks.

As for Twitter, I have no idea! Whats your twitter address, I’ll unblock you.

  3. It’s does show you’ve put a fair bit of effort in, just those couple of tweeks will take it up another level.

    As for Twitter – it’s @Gaz_E

    Cheers.

  4. Well for everything you see on the site as far as content from the old site goes, Ive had to copy, paste, tag and categorize every single thing myself. 1,200 posts alone of news article alone. Still have around 430 left to add. 😀

I’ll sort your twitter out now.
