I honestly believed that the West Tigers were busted, and on their way to an ambush in Canberra, however the Black and Golds lifted and managed a memorable 26-24 win and put themselves into the Semi Finals and a matchup with the St George/Illawarra Dragons.
It was very much game on with Benji Marshall playing incredible football and Terry Campese also playing great.
However Campese went down with a major knee injury, and the Raiders were always going to struggle from there. They played tough though and both sides were in a real arm wrestle.
The Tigers got a 2 point lead and must have shit three different shades of brown when the Raiders got a penalty that could have forced extra time.
However Jarrod Croker missed the penalty, and that was all she wrote.
Its funny because today everyone was feeling sympathy for Croker. The fact is he missed a pretty straight forward kick that he should have made. Bloody hopeless!
The Tigers now go on to face the Dragons next weekend at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.
