Well, its that time of the year again. The time when we get many promises, little action and pretty much no information.
The RLIF meeting happens this week and that means Australia and Great Britain sit down and decide what they will do over the next 12 months (As usual, long term planning!) and then they tell every other nation to fit their schedules in around what they are doing!
There has been talk about upgrading the judicial proceeding for international football after the Nigel Vagana farce (And if you don’t remember, the same meeting last year decided that from then on the NRL’s judiciary system would be used for test football!) but don’t hold your breath. These board meeting are the biggest waste of time you will ever see.
Emerging nations must shake their heads in disbelief at the lack of leadership shown by the top nations at this meeting.
