Bulldogs Through To The 2012 Grand Final After Downing The Bunnies

The Canterbury Bulldogs will take on the Melbourne Storm in the 2012 NRL Grand Final after beating the South Sydney Rabbitohs 32-8.

The Bulldogs got off to a great start with an early try but from that point on it was all Rabbitohs. The Bulldogs looked right off their game, they dropped a lot of ball and the Bunnies forwards were really dominating them.

Issac Luke was causing all sorts of problems out of dummy half and the Rabbitohs looks really good. They were composed and looked the better side.

Then, after kicking the ball into the Bulldogs in goal area rookie halfback Adam Reynolds tore his hamstring on the kick chase. You could tell straight away that he was done for the game and it was the big turning point in the game.

The Rabbitohs tried to keep it together as best as they could but they just couldn’t make up for the loss of Reynolds. The Bulldogs got their game together a little more and from that point on it was all one way traffic.

It was a really rough end to the season for the Rabbitohs. I think had Reynolds not got injured they would have won the game. At least they can look towards building next seasons run at the Grand Final knowing they made it this far and had the Bulldogs on the ropes until the Reynolds injury.

As for the Bulldogs, they did well to get themselves back on track. Now they head into the Grand Final against the Storm. How good is that game going to be!
