Australia And New Zealand To Host 2017 Rugby League World Cup

The Rugby League International Federation has announced that Australia and New Zealand will jointly host the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

They beat a bid put in from South Africa who were always at long odds to host the tournament.

It will be interesting to see where the final is hosted, although you would guess it would be in Australia simply for financial reasons.

Australia hosted the 2008 Rugby League World Cup which was a success in a number of areas.
