Did They Give The Man Of The Match Award To The Wrong Trbojevic

We have seen some pretty interesting Man Of The Match awards handed out at State Of Origin level over the years, and game two of the 2019 series was no exception.

After scoring three tries in the Blues 38-6 win over Queensland you would have thought Tom Trbojevic was a lock for the man of the match award. Not so according to the experts who hand the award out.

They gave the man of the match award to his brother Jake Trbojevic.

I find it hard to go past Tom, even though Jake had a really good game. So I thought I’d put the two players side by side in terms of statistics to see if one stood out over the other.

So here they are. You make your own mind up…
