So You Wanna Be A Rugby League Player?
Playing OpportunitiesHere at LeagueFreak.com we are always willing to help any clubs in any way we can.

There are a number of very good playing opportunities for players outside of the National Rugby league and Super League all over the world.

In fact, you'd probably be surprised at how much money a decent player can make if they find the right opportunity.

In this case, we may be able to help someone looking to play Rugby League with a very good club, get a job, and earn some very good money in this process!

If you are interested, then read on my friend!

Valleys Senior Rugby League in Gladstone, Central Queensland are in desperate need of good quality A Grade Rugby League players to fill the void of retired and poached players. We have a really good junior base but these guys are about a year or two from making an impact into A Grade.

We are also offering the opportunity of employment of up to $100,000 a year to the right players. The jobs on offer are in the mining and industrial sector and come with shift and roster options including 4 on 4 off, 7 on 7 off etc.

We encourage only good A Grade players to apply as positions are limited.

Valleys Senior Rugby League will help the right players with relocation and accommodation issues as they arise.

The competition which we are involved in includes teams from Yeppoon, Rockhampton, Biloela, Tannum Sands and Gladstone and works as a feeder system nto the CQ Capras rep sides and eventually into the CQ Comets Queensland Cup side.

If you believe this is the opportunity for you simply contact Murray or Mick:

Valleys Club President - Murray Bale
E-Mail - BaleM@gpcl.com.au
Phone - 0437772414

Vice President - Mick Richards
E-Mail - michael.richards@hastingsdeering.com.au
Phone - 0409725755

It is a good opportunity for the right person, so if it sounds good to you, don't hesitate to get in touch with the club!

Ridiculously, it all resets after every World Cup. Or the WC doesn't count. One of the two.

Ref Willie Manu. Didn't Hayne play for Fiji in 2008 WC then tour with the Kangaroos 2009??

Solid buys. Finch is a handy play maker, Lima a good prop. Hoffman has had injury probs though.

Hes not bad. Good mobility, gets stuck in. Doesn't mind playing in the middle of the field, unlike Gareth Ellis!

Freak - Have you seen and what do you make of young Flanagan that signed for the West Tigers from Wigan at the end of last year

Rich backers, the exchange rate and relaxed salary cap monitoring.

Fair enough, so why does SuperLeague have more cash than NRL? (if it's only played in grotty Northern towns in England?)

League Freak

A Nation Comp means a bigger TV deal and bigger sponsorships. The NRL's deals are smaller because they don't have the national reach on a weekly basis.

Freak- why does AFL have more cash to lure players from league when there is absolutely no international scene?

To be honest all I know about him is that he is an assistant coach at Melbourne. He should be pretty good though.

Freak - what is the form of Micheal Mcguire who is supposed to be coming to replace Noble at Wigan as coach

You know, they can blame Smith all they want, they are just playing dumb, soft football.
