New Zealand Names A Strong Squad For ANZAC Test

The New Zealand Rugby League has announced a 19 man squad for Friday nights ANZAC Test Match against Australia.

There are four new caps in the Kiwi’s lineup with you fullback Krisnan Inu, Brisbanes Greg Eastwood and Warriors props Sam Rapira and Evarn Tuimavave all breaking their way into the elite squad.

Its a very strong squad and the Kiwi’s are a bit unlucky that Kidwell is injured because his addition to their forward pack would be terrific.

Backs:
Krisnan Inu (Parramatta)
Manu Vatuvei (NZ Warriors)
Paul Whaturia (Wests Tigers)
Iosia Soliola (Sydney Roosters)
Jake Webster (Gold Coast)
Benji Marshall (Tigers)
Ben Roberts (Canterbury Bulldogs)

Forwards:
Roy Asotasi (South Sydney)
Dene Halatau (Tigers)
David Faiumu (North Queensland)
Nathan Cayless (Parramatta)
Sam Rapira (Warriors)
Evarn Tuimavave (Warriors)
Simon Mannering (Warriors)
Tony Puletua (Penrith)
David Fa’alogo (Souths)
Sonny Bill Williams (Bulldogs)
Frank Pritchard (Penrith)
Greg Eastwood (Brisbane)

I can not wait to see Benji Marshall back in a Kiwi jersey. It will be interesting to see how he and Ben Roberts work together in the halves.
