1. Norm Provan
A winner of ten Grand Finals, Proven was the anchor of the great St George side of the 50’s and 60’s. A giant even by today’s standards, if Provan was in your side in a big game….any game, you knew the chances are you would win.
2. Clive Churchill
A brilliant player who won Premierships as a player and coach, Churchill’s performances are the stuff of legend. The best player of all time, Churchill played well above his weight and was simply a winner.
3. Wally Lewis
A fierce competitor, Wally Lewis was ten foot tall and bullet proof every time he pulled on a Queensland or Australian jersey. Lewis simply never gave the opposition an inch and his aggressive play saw him hated but admired by anyone that wasn’t a Queenslander.
