Details Of NRL Broadcasting Deal Into New Zealand Finally Announced

It took a long time to get there but the NRL has finally worked out a deal with Sky television in New Zealand that will see a wide range of broadcasting shown across New Zealand.

The deal between Sky and the NRL will run for five years and will see New Zealand based fans get just about the same game day coverage as we get here in Australia. That will include:

•    All Warriors Telstra Premiership matches, the Harvey Norman Rugby League All Stars, the Holden State of Origin Series, Telstra Premiership Finals Series and Grand Final will be shown live on SKY Sport;

•    All Telstra Premiership matches and televised Holden Cup matches are available for broadcast on SKY Sport.

This is great news for New Zealand based fans. A few were worried they would not get coverage of early round games.
