Burgess Boys A Rugby League Foursome That Won’t End Up Front Page News

South Sydney Rabbitohs

The Burgess brothers will become the first four brothers to line up in the same first grade side for 103 years!

Luke, Sam, George and Thomas will run out for the South Sydney Rabbitohs against the Wests Tigers on Friday night in what is a pretty remarkable achievement for the Burgess family.

The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that the last four brothers to line up in an Australian Rugby League first grade match were the Norman brothers who played for Annandale in 1910.

The Burgess brothers have really given South Sydney a ready made set of forwards who are all very big, who have a lot of similarities, but who also have a few unique aspects as well.

While Sam Burgess is a bit of an all rounder and Luke is a steady workhorse, George has made a name for himself for his hard charging style, his ability to score tries close to the line, and his giant penis.Thomas meanwhile is coming on slowly but surely, having not had the same amount of time at the South Sydney club as his twin brother George.

All four brothers should line up for England in the end of season World Cup which in itself should be a record for the England Rugby League team.
