The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that St George/Illawarra Dragons winger Brett Morris has asked the club for a release so that he can join his brother at the Canterbury Bulldogs.
Incredibly the Herald suggests that the Dragons told Morris to look around for a new contract at other clubs, feeling that his current contract at the Dragons was above market value!
There has been so much talk over the last few seasons that the Morris twins would reunite once again. Whether it was at the Dragons or the Bulldogs, it seemed to be certain that one player was set to be on the move.
Dragons supporters are sure to be disappointed to lose one of their best players. When you look at the amount of players the club has let go in recent seasons, it doesn’t make for great reading.
