Benji Marshall Wants Tim Sheens To Be The Next St George/Illawarra Dragons Coach

Benji Marshall has given Tim Sheens his backing to take over the coaching role at the St George/Illawarra Dragons.

Marshall played the majority of his career under Sheens at the Wests Tigers where the pair won a Premiership together in 2005.

A number of names have already been tossed up for the Dragons coaching job. Few seem to believe that caretaker coach Paul McGregor will secure the role on a full time basis.

Sheens isn’t the worst coach I’ve seen linked to the Dragons job. Tony Smith of the Warrington Wolves would easily be the worst.

I still wouldn’t rule out Wayne Bennett ending up at the Dragons again if they can get enough money together.
